Balloon from China being tracked by Pentagon

Adding to the strain on China and US relations, a suspected surveillance balloon sent from China is being tracked by the US government. A spokesman from the Pentagon said that the balloon is traveling at a high enough level that it doesn't pose any threat to planes in the air or a military threat to the citizens of the US. President Joe Biden wanted to shoot that balloon down but was advised against it for it could hurt people on the ground or possibly release some deadly chemical attack. The balloon's current flight path is going to carry it over several sensitive areas, but the US government doesn't believe it will actually be able to collect any useful information. China claims the balloon entered US territory accidentally, but the US is still keeping a watchful eye on this balloon and China.
