The Chinese spy balloon that was allowed to travel across the United States was shot down Saturday morning over the Atlantic Ocean. Biden Administration chose to delay shooting down the balloon to limit the debris fall out over land and said the same information could have been gathered from satellites. The Navy was deployed to the site to gather all the pieces of the balloon for investigation. It was shot down in shallow waters making it easier to gather as much as possible although it was noted the cold temperatures of the water have made the recovery mission slower.
