On Monday, a deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Syria and Turkey, thus, taking the lives of many and leaving some children without their parents. For instance, a newborn baby was found under the rubble of an apartment building while her mother was found dead. Unfortunately, there are more (unknown) children out in Syria and Turkey who have been orphaned, and both countries are faced with a race against time. As of now, the death toll has reached above 40,000 in both Syria and Turkey.
