In the news this week, there was not one but six balloons traveling over a country however, this time it was a Russian balloon traveling over the Ukraine. It was assumed to have reconnaissance equipment on board as it travel over the capital. The Ukrainian government felt this strategy was to exhaust their air defenses as they used their Ukrainian air forces to shoot down the balloons. Two neighboring countries, Romania and Moldova also saw the balloons and moved their military to protect their airspace. Are these balloons for spying or to drain a country's military resource... that is the question.
