Pakistan ravaged by a monsoon last summer is facing economic challenges due their main export resource, cotton, being destroyed in the monsoon. Complicating the issue are political struggles with the past extremist leader trying to regain power and another group deemed as terrorist are also trying exert their authority. Pakistan has the fifth largest population in the world and is currently facing 27% inflation. All of these challenges are very similar to what the Ukraine faced which led their economic crisis and is being watched closely for the future of Pakistan.
