Peyton Gendron, a white supremacist who killed 10 black people in super market last year was sentenced to prison for 10 years. Family of the victims are upset and questioned why is this man getting only ten years of prison for such a horrible act and also a targeting act. Peyton wore a bullet proof vest, brought 100 more of ammo and also a helmet with a live stream camera, carrying a rifle. He shot 13 people who he had in mind targeting before coming to the supermarket. Families of the victims grieve but also give Peyton some words while he was walking the aisle in court.
This is crazy because I don’t think his sentence isn’t enough for his crime and I heard he would be facing a death sentence if chosen and I hope it is. Peyton knew exactly what he did when he drove three hours to a grocery store that mostly black people attend. This wasn’t only an act of violence but a racist act as well. I think a much worse sentence should come his way because this isn’t fair at all. I didn’t know any of the victims but my heart hurts every time I read or hear about this. He also has the nerves to cry during his court date, there’s nothing you should be crying about. You killed all those innocent black people with motive.
