Heading across the Pacific, 3.2 tonnes of cocaine totaling about $316 million was seized by New Zealand military. It was believed to have been headed for Australia. New Zealand says this was their biggest drug bust to date. Some of the packages were labeled with a Batman symbol or a black four-leaf clover. Apparently, these are trademark logos for drugs coming from South America. New Zealand sent a boat out to retrieve the drugs off the boat and discovered 81 bales of cocaine. New Zealand shows their pride for a job well done by saying, "We believe to have dealt a significant blow to an international criminal syndicate's operation." They also added that Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada helped with the bust.
