In America, many people associate WoW with World of Warcraft, but some people in Europe associate WoW with a much more controversial product: an abortion boat. WoW, which stands for Women on Waves, is a Dutch boat that sails around to countries where abortions are illegal to help women who need abortions. It's currently en route to Morocco, where abortions are only allowed if the mother's life is in danger. WoW claims they will not actually perform any abortions while in Morocco, declaring they will only try to spread the idea of legalizing abortions and informing women on contraception.
In the past 11 years that this boat has been around, they have performed abortions off the coast of Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
