This morning a car bomb went off outside the French Embassy in Libya's capital city of Tripoli. Two guards were wounded with several other sustaining injuries as well as outside damage to surrounding shops and buildings. Luckily, a high injury, and perhaps death toll, was spared due to embassy staff not yet arriving for work. Meanwhile, in Syria, gunmen have abducted two Christian bishops while doing humanitarian work in Aleppo. Abdulahad Steifo of the opposition Syrian National Coalition said that the two mean were taken while walking on the side of the road of opposition-held Bab al-Hawa border that crosses with Turkey. These mean remain at the highest level of leaders to be caught in the conflict since Syria began its revolt.
