North Korean Negotiation

North Korea is up to yet another one of their antics. Thursday, their National Defense Commission released a statement urging the United States and South Korea to withdrawal U.N. sanctions and to end the U.S.-South Korean buddy-buddy military exercises. Of course, North Korea cannot simply release a statement without a threat, saying that the United States and South Korea should follow a list of measures or face "sledge-hammer retaliatory blows of the army and people." Cho Tai-young of the South Korean foreign ministry laughed it off, in a sense, saying North Koreans are "proposterous." North Korea also urged that the United States should make the first move in regards to North Korea's nuclear program.
