Morocco decided to pull its troops out of the annual war games exercise "African Lion" after the Obama administration supported the U.N. monitoring human rights in Western Sahara. This area has been disputed since the 1970s when Morocco annexed the Spanish territory. Morocco feels as though it is an insult to its government for the U.N. to step in.
