Puerto Rico public schools may not reopen for weeks

This article has been taken from CNN, it discusses that majority of the public schools of Puerto Rico may not be able to resume classes due to the fact of Hurrican Maria. Puerto Rico's Secretary of Education, Julia Kelleher, mentions that the latest of schools reopening would be October 16, but at the same time, it won't be possible because certain parts of the island have electricity running and so on. In the article also mentions President Trump bashing on the leadership Puerto Rico has and in my view it does not seem fair. The United States is neighbors to Puerto Rico, plus Puerto Rico is owned by the U.S and should receive help from any other neighbor or ally. Aside for that, Puerto Rico is trying their very best to not depend on the U.S due to the harsh comments plus they are trying their best to keep their very own citizens safe and have enough supplies to survive this incident. Due to others who were kind enough to help and donate, they are getting through this tragedy, their shelter usage went from 500 shelters being used to 139 shelters are now being used to house those that are in need. Also, 51 of 69 hospitals are up and running, patients are now being taken care of. The article has more details which you can read about in this link: Puerto Rico public schools may not reopen
