The New York Times - Authors Isabel Kershner and Nick Cumming-Bruce report on Syrian shots fired at an Israeli Army jeep. According to the Israeli military, a mortar shell also from Syria had crossed the cease-fire line between the two countries. Syria, currently dealing with a civil war, has shown recent military actions towards Israel with Israel responding to shots fired in their vicinity. Israel has also stated that there would be no act to intervene in their war unless a direct threat was posed against them. At current standing, the shots fired at the Israeli Army jeep are not yet known to be intentional. The UN, which is overseeing the cease-fire line between the two countries has become increasingly worried about the continuing war in Syria and the violence within its borders which makes delivering supplies to citizens extremely difficult.
