North Korea vs. Canada

The article is title about Canada fearing North Korea but the article itself is more about a Spanish born foreign relations conduit who has earned honorary citizenship there. It is interesting because he is defending the North Koreans and is saying that they are only trying to defend themselves against the U.S., as well as their allies. He also goes on to say that North Korea will never be de-nuclearized and that they will continue their nuclear testing because nobody takes you seriously if you don’t have them in the international world. In addition to this Cao de Benos says that North Korea does not tell other countries how to run their political systems so why must the U.S. and its allies continue to pressure them and other non-democracy countries into becoming a democracy. It is really fascinating to hear an opinion from someone who seems to be pro North Korea because everything we hear in the U.S. is condoning them and hating on them majorly. Finally, yes. Canada should be worried because they are close to the U.S. and are supporters of them.
