Al-Nusra pledges allegiance to al-Qaeda

al-Qaeda announced on Tuesday that they were merging with Al-Nusra which actually came as a surprise to Abu Mohammed al-Jawlan. Abu Mohammed al-Jawlan stated that their stance in Syria was not changing. Al-Nusra seems to not want to be associated with al-Qaeda so that they can maintain their reputation with the other rebel groups in the area.
