Myanmar and Indonesia

The people of northern Myanmar have been facing changes due to the Kachin ethnic group becoming more combative. There is mistrust and hatred between the Kachin and the people of Myanmar. The Kachin have their own independent army who have been retreating in the face of attacks of the Myanmar military. These two groups have little in common and their language and religion are even different. Many people are upset due to the loss of being democratic. Children prefer to learn the Kachin language instead of their native language because there is so much hate and acrimony towards the Myanmar.
The religious and ethnic violence spread to Indonesia where Muslim and Buddhist detainees in an immigration center broke out in violence leaving people dead and wounded. Refugees and Buddhist from Myanmar were held together when fighting erupted after a Muslim confronted a Buddhist about the violence in Myanmar. The Indonesian authorites got smart and finally moved these two groups after medal and wood from broken chairs were thrown. The police came and the refugees were detained for illegal entry.
