In a newly released email from the then vice-admiral William McRaven, it has become exposed that the admiral ordered that any photos of UBL from the raid in Pakistan were to either be destroyed or sent to an unknown government agency. The activist group judicial watch has filed a request numerous times and recently filed lawsuit, proclaiming that the governments failure to release the photos is against the law. They were also the ones to release the email by the admiral. Obama has stated time and again, as well as other high end officials, that the photos will not be released for fear that it could provide a spark to terrorist groups and be used as a tool for propaganda. I personally do not agree with this. UBL was one of the greatest enemies that the U.S has faced in the last 20 years. Releasing the photos will give satisfaction and peace of mind to the American people. It is something that the American people deserve to see, regardless of the graphic nature of it.
