Bomb threat forces plane to land in Turkey after demand to land in Sochi

Earlier this morning a Pegasus Airlines plane was forced to land after a passenger claimed that there was a bomb on board the plane. The plane was bound for Turkey but the passenger requested that the plane land in Sochi instead. After landing the plane was inspected and the man, believed to be Ukrainian, was taken into custody. Its unclear at this point if there really was a bomb on board and what the intentions of the man were, but officials were not willing to risk an attack given the heightened security around Sochi and the olympics. At the time of this report the 110 passengers were still aboard the plane, and nothing has developed further.
