Venezuela's hardliner reappears as Nicolas Maduro expels US officials

Apparently some protests has been going on Venezuela after they have been organized by the opposition leader named Leopoldo Lopez.  Lopez has been calling publicly his potential supporters to support him. Soon after his speech in media, the president of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro raised suspicions that the United States might be infiltrated in this process and that they may be co-organizing protests together with the opposition party. A court has issued an arrest warrant for Lopez, which soon after it was received by him, he stated that he will present to the court because he had nothing to hide nor did he do any crime.

“I will present myself. I have nothing to fear. I have committed no crime. I have been a Venezuelan with deep commitments towards my country and my people”

The charges are different including vandalism and terrorism. His family has also been checked out by the high security soldiers under the claims that the oppositions leader is meeting with the American officials in private, far from media and other places where he can be discovered. According to Maduro, he had been warned by the American officials that if Lopez is jailed there will be high consequences and therefore the Venezuelan president went further by stating:

“I accept no threats from anyone in this world ... There will be no force that will detain us in our pursuit of justice and in our fight against fascism … We are willing to go to the last consequences in our defence of peace and sovereignty ... Let them go conspire in Washington"

With this statement, the three American diplomats have been officially expelled from Venezuela accused for conspiring against the actual government. It should be stated that protests consists of students and NGOs that are against the actual president and not only by opposition forces.
