Voting blocked in parts of Thailand

The protesters that blocked early voting are following through with their promise to block voting for the main election.  Voting in the norther regions of the country went without much problem, but in the southern parts where the opposition Democrat party is more popular, some polling stations were blocked.  Government officials currently say that around 89% of polling stations operated normally.  However, more elections will probably still be needed regardless of the outcome because of prior disruption to registration for candidates which will result in there not being enough MPs for parliament.
