Middle Class Brazilians protest government corruption

Protests resumed across Brazil to voice the displeasure with the workers party, which has been in charge since 2003. These protests involved hundreds of thousands of people and some leaders of the protests say they reached over a million in some of the bigger cities. The outrage is over the rampant corruption in the Brazilian government, specifically with bribery between the government and national oil firm Petrobas. Multiple politicians including the president of the Brazilian senate, president of the chamber of deputies, a former energy minister and a former president. The protestors believe that Brazil's current president Dilma Roussef knew about the bribery that has been allegedly going on. Roussef has been exonerated but her popularity amongst the middle class has dropped dramatically.
