At the seventh Summits of America, Cuba was allowed to participate for the first time ever, and a formal meeting between the leaders of Cuba and the United States occurred for the first time in half a century. Obama apologized for intervening in both Venezuela and Cuba, even though Venezuela is now considered threat to the United States, and an order was recently passed declaring so. US relations with Venezuela have been pretty shaky for a while (think Hugo Chavez and Bush https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5fjZJPAuXk), but president Maduro is trying to get Obama to repeal the executive order he made, even though his views (on imperialism) are very different from the USA he wants respect for his country. US prospects with Cuba are looking good, but what will happen with Venezuela?
