Russia's Putin: U.S. Is Acting Like Soviet Union After WWII

This week, Vladimir Putin, during the annual live televised question and answer session, states the United States is acting like the Soviet Union after World War 2. Putin says that after WWII, the Soviet Union tried to impose their development model on the entire Eastern European nation, which was not appropriate. The United States, according to Putin, is currently imposing their model on the entire world, and are only looking for vassals not allies. When asked whether Russia had troops in Ukraine, Putin no and described the power shift as "an armed coup d'tetat", a small group using violence to gain power. He also states Kiev was guilty of extreme nationalism and Russian can't get involved because it would be wrong for them to do so.
