After the recent chemical attacks in Syria, we have come to see that the Assad regime may be responsible, and the international community is coming to terms over what they should do to fight back and punish him. Today (Monday) there is a scheduled G7 meeting in Italy to discuss the approach the international community plans to take on the events in Syria. However, up until recently, only the US had taken action, calling for missile strikes on a Syrian airbase, in efforts to punish Assad for his attacks on his own civilians. The actions of the US are to be discussed, specifically on future plans and the current US position on Syria. This meeting will also be discussing Russia due to it's ties with Assad's regime, and ways to pressure Russia into compliance.
