This past week Chairman Xi Jinping of China visited the Untied States to meet with President Trump to discuss China/American relations, North Korea, climate change, and globalization. This was an important meeting for American and Chinese foreign policy. The way the Chinese government and Chinese media portrayed this meeting was Chairman Xi Jinping was calm and in command. China is a competitive global power with the United States, and seemly opposite of Trump's protective policies. This was a key meeting for these two "powerhouse" countries and the Chinese government feels very confident where they stand. Hopefully there will be cooperation with the two nations. One of the main topics of conversation is China's stance on American outsourcing. We will see what happens.
