Trump Administration Is Contradicting Itself On Regime Change In Syria

This article focus on the Trump administration‘s stark reversal in its attitude towards the Syrian civil war and what it hope to gain from its involvement in the civil war. The article starts by talking about the new tone in the trump administration and how the administration's goal is to send a message to the Assad regime and Russia in that the US will not tolerate the use of chemical weapons but other then that the Us policy hasn’t changed. The article then talks about how this most recent move is seen by most people a complete reversal of Trump administration’s stance on Syria and that it was not a US concern but after the Assad chemical attack it would seem as though Syria has become a greater concern than it was. The article then ends with it mentioning with what the Trump Administration hopes to achieve in this attack on the Assad air base and what might happen next. Overall this article talks about the goals of this attack and how it is a complete reverse on the Trump administration's former position in regards to Syria and what might happen in the future in regards to Syria.
