With nearly perfect timing, Vice President Pence will be making his first visit to the Asia-Pacific region. His primary stop is Seoul, South Korea. Other stops include: Tokyo, Jakarta, Sydney, and Hawaii. On his trip, the main goal is to give Pence an opportunity to explain the administration's policies to our allies in the region, as well as create personal relationships with government officials and business leaders.
With tension rising with Syria, Russia, and North Korea, the Trump administration is preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. With recent trade proposals with China and developing strong relationships with nations surrounding North Korea, it is interesting and scary for what will come next. Especially with North Koreas 6th planned bomb test occurring tomorrow.
