Canada to withdraw fighter jets from Syria and Iraq strikes

Last week Canada elected their new Prime minister, Justin Trudeau whose first initiation was to remove fighter jets from Syria and Iraq. The new Prime minister wants to strengthen Canada's foreign policy, and although his actions might seem to reduce international threats over Syria and Iraq, I think he is doing the right thing for his country. Pulling out of counter-terrorism operations will help Justin also reach his goal of restoring ties with Iran. Although Canadian jets were extracted from Syria, Trudeau will  keep troops on the ground to help train the Kurds. Question was, how would Obama react to this? This is how Trudeau noted it "I committed that we would continue to engage in a responsible way that understands how important Canada has a role to play in the fight against ISIL (Islamic State), but he (Barack Obama) understands the commitments I've made around ending the combat mission". At this stage its clear to us that its just politics. A leader will do what they feel is right, and although Trudeau's predecessor, Stephen Harper engaged in counter-terrorism operations, Trudeau will prove that their is another way.
