The Colombian government and Farc have been in a civil war for over 100 years and they have decided to set aside there differences to to persue the disappearance of 50,000 people in Colombia. They will work together to recover the remains if those who have been killed from unmarked graves and to locate those who might still be alive. They have a six months to sign the peace treaty.Red cross will assist with the search as well as the family members of the victims,BBC news and Colombia as whole. Something that stood out to me from this article is that they referred to the Farc as a rebel group rather than a terrorist group. By definition of the department of defense they would be considered a terrorist group. I just think that the choice of wording gave the article a sense of positivity rather than a negativity feel to it . If the author would have chosen the word terrorist millions of question would have crossed my mind such as  "how can a government share and trust information with a terrorist group" something along those lines. I think the fact that these two groups coming together will impact Colombia in a positive way. It will show the people that Colombia can come together to solve issues regardless of their differences.
