Iran tests long range missiles

Iran, in direct violation of international treaties and UN sanctions, Iran has tested a long range missile which could potentially carry a nuclear war head to a neighboring state. This is raising fears of the speculated nuclear program that Iran is pursuing, missiles were also used in part of a military parade, suggesting that Iran is attempting to intimidate its neighbors. The missiles themselves are said to have a range of just over 1000 miles, easily enough range to launch attacks at Israel if they so desired. There is also the possibility that the test will prompt Iran's neighbors to do the same, increasing tension in the region, despite Iran's claims that their nuclear program is entirely peaceful.
