North Korea holds huge military parade

North Korea has recently held a massive military parade in Pyongyang, flexing its muscles to the international community. China showed its support in the form of the 5th highest ranking official in China. The parade itself included soldiers holding packs with radioactive symbols on them, a nod to North Korea's nuclear capability, Kin Jong Un stated that due to his regime's Military First policy, North Korea's army is "ready to respond to any kind of war the American imperialists want", he also commented that the North Korean Army has become the strongest military in the world and is capable of attacking the United States at any time. This is fairly typical of North Korea, whose regime owes much of its authority and power to the threat of war with an external enemy, namely, the United States. Whilst this is nothing new, it is worrying in light of North Korea's unsuccessful attempt at testing their ballistic missiles which could potentially carry nuclear weapons used against the United States and could be interpreted as a way of reaffirming the threat of their military and making the West take them more seriously.
