China is "holding a Japanese woman" for espionage

There is a Japanese woman who is being detained by China on suspicions of espionage. China has detained another three Japanese citizens. They've also held an American on the same grounds. It is unclear how true these allegations are. If they are true then Japan has caught a particularly bad break in getting caught when you consider the rising tension in the South China Sea. Right now Japan is one of the biggest obstacles to local hegemony for China so it will be interesting to see how accusations of spying affect Japan's relationship with nearby countries.
I just have to say though that China's outrage over spying seems a little hypocritical in consideration of it's state backed online spying.
