US Been Cleared for New Nuclear Facility

For the first time in over roughly 20 years there will be a new nuclear power plant in the United States, This power plant's construction orginally began in the 70's but was halted by some shady activity surrounding the production. After a long wait there is a new life in the project as it has been approved by the TVA to complete the power plant and on the condition the facility is up to code, it will become active. This article may not fit as directly into internation affairs as others but this nuclear power plant just like any of the many facilities similar should probably be a global decision. As we had discussed during the class there are many ethical questions that should be raised with considering the use of anything nuclear. Now this is not a nuclear warhead, it is not specifically designed with the intention of causing harm. The concern should surrond the nunmber of facilities, the structural integrity of these sites and disposal, because in regards to nuclear weapons or power, we are all in this together regardless if individuals want to.
