In New Delhi multiple attacks on Nigerian foreign exchange students have been reported. These mob attacks stem from the death of a boy who was believed to have drug overdosed. The suspected men who peddled the drugs were five local Nigerian men. The autopsy came back negative for drug overdose, so the men were let free. This caused riots in New Delhi that led to violent attacks on students who had nothing to do with the situation at hand. India is currently trying to maintain peace throughout the country and prevent anymore attacks.
