Venezuelan supreme court revises ruling that nullified the legislature

To change the course of Venezuela's government, the supreme court on Wednesday night ruled that the legislative branch will no longer possess the authority to make laws. The power to legislate will shift to the courts instead. On Saturday, however, the courts announced a reversal of the law passed on Wednesday night. The new law will reinstate some of the authority and privilege, such the power to make laws and immunity from prosecution, given to the legislative branch that the previous ruling took away.https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/01/world/americas/venezuela-court-national-assembly.html?_r=0
