ISIS released more than 200 Yazidis

Last summer, hundreds of Yazidis were captured by ISIS after the terrorist group attacked their village in northern Iraq. The Yazidis religion is considered pre-Islamic pulling their beliefs from Christianity, Judaism, and  Zoroastrianism which has brought much hatred and were actually called devil worshipers by Muslims. ISIS brought cruel measures to some Yazidis, especially women, whom was said to have been raped and enslaved. The U.S., in August, began air striking ISIS in Iraq and Syria, yet no captured Yazidis were released. However, on Wednesday (yesterday), ISIS released more than 200 captured Yazidis, majority of them women and children. The reason for the released is, at the time, unknown according to the commander of the region of Kurdish. The released Yazidis are now in the hands of Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government for the time being.
