Firing of F.B.I. Director James Comey Leads to New Suspicions With Russia

As the news broke that Donald Trump fired Director James Comey, for interference with the election, many senators, both Republican and Democrat have newfound suspicions on the Trump administration. The Hill, in a recent article, claims that the firing of James Comey is unprecedented, especially with the investigations against Trump that were underway. Many senators, such as Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz) and Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) as well as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and many others have either denounced the decision or have voiced their skepticism of it. This suspicion comes from Trump's acknowledgment of the Comey email issue well before hiring him, the sudden decision to fire him and the possibility of the Trump and Russia investigation getting closer to the truth. With this much suspicion, only time will tell what will come out from this.
