GOP health bill doesn’t classify rape or sexual assault as a preexisting condition
The Trump administration has recently been trying to get new laws approved. One that is making women all over the country angry is the health care bill could state rape and domestic violence is considered a preexisting condition. What this means is that if anyone is sexually assaulted and trying to continue health insurance their rates could be higher than someone who was not sexually assaulted. The fact is this is untrue and would be highly unlikely for a woman to be denied insurance for sexual assault. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2017/05/06/no-the-gop-health-bill-doesnt-classify-rape-or-sexual-assault-as-a-preexisting-condition/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_fc-preexisting-1022am%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.22c6174c72c5
