Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Dies

According to Fox News, Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the 85 year old heir to the Saudi throne, has died from a disclosed illness. Saudi officials said he passed at a hospital in New York. Sultan had been receiving treatment for colon cancer since 2009, according to leaked U.S. diplomatic cable from January of 2010. Sultan was the Saudi's deputy prime minister and was minister of defense and aviation. There is a large amount of family drama behind who is going to be the next crown prince and there is still concern about what will happen next. Sultans half brother, King Abdullah, underwent back surgery last week and is still recovering. Anyone who will rise to the throne is more than likely to keep relations with the U.S. After being appointed governor of of Riyadh, Sultan became the first ever minister of agriculture and two years later became minister of transportation. During that time, he supervised the construction of the Saudi's roads and telecommunications networks, and the construction of a railway system connecting the eastern city of Dammam and Riyadh. Sultan leaves behind 32 children from multiple wives. It would be in the countries best concern to find and heir fast to get their country back up and running.
