Protesters attack TV station over film Persepolis
Nessma TV station was attacked by an Islamist group, that wanted the film Persepolis banned. The main theme of the movie is about the last days of the Shah and Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution. This infuriated the Islamist group, therefore, they attacked the station. There were many casualties but the officials wont say the number of the casualties. to face the 300 protesters, their were 100 police vehicles at the scene. In the end, this riot was meant to represent the "contest in Tunisia is between those who want to see religion play a greater party in public life, and secularists who think Islam should be confined to mosques."
