U.N Chief Travels to North Korea on Humanitarian Mission

Short, sweet, and to the point: Valerie Amos, an under-secretary general for the humanitarian affairs department of the U.N, will be touring North Korea's "dark zones", the agricultural villages far beyond the streets of Pyongyang that are groomed and stocked for official visitors.
Better yet, a conference on Mrs. Amos' findings will be held in China, around five days from now. What news she brings back, and the political implications of the truth being (or not being) revealed may herald the opening of a whole new humanitarian can of worms. Stay tuned.
