Graves Vandalized in Jerusalem

According to CNN, more than 100 graves in a Muslim cemetery were found vandalized on Friday evening, as Yom Kippur was beginning in Israel. It is said to have taken place a day or two before the graffiti was found. Phrases that were spray painted included "death to all Arabs," "death to all Russians", "price tag", and words associated with a local football club. On Saturday evening, there were small protests against racism and for coexistence after the graffiti was found. No one has been arrested for the incident, but poilce are still following the case. There were reports that the graves were smashed but that was confirmed to be false. Attacks like these have increased in the past year in Israel, including setting mosques ablaze, Jewish shrines have been destroyed, and painting on walls of a holy Jewish site.
