Italian Prime Minister Wins Confidence Vote in Parliament

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi won a key confidence vote in parliament, sparked by questions over his handling of the economy and personal scandals.Italy's government credit rating was recently downgraded and the parliament has failed to back a key part of the budget this week, triggering the vote. Berlusconi faced trails on sex, bribery and abuse of power charges. Despite all these trials, he somehow still has staying power and he has maintained his innocence, whatever of it he has left.
