UK Faces Job Loss Woes

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15234228

The US and Eurozone countries are not the only places feeling the wrath of recent financial crises. Great Britain's public sector is taking the heat as more and more job cuts begin to snowball and undermine the country's economic growth. Debate is raging between the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development (CIPD) and the Treasury, the latter of which claims the job cuts are necessary for economic growth in a period where deficit is not an option. Evidence suggests against such a sentiment, however: the UK's economic growth stalled out at .1% in the past year, only half of what was projected a year ago.
