Saudi- led “Operation Decisive
Storm” is attacking Houthi rebels around Yemen. The Houthi’s are then disturbing
the peace of Yemeni civilians in Yemen. Just over the weekend there were 16
million Yemenis living under the Houthi control. These people are living
without electricity as well as water and food. The Saudi led group has
currently only taken airstrikes on the Houthi’s. However, it is unknown of the
Saudi group will do a ground invasion on the Houthis. There are rumors that the
Saudi’s already have troops in Yemen for the Houthis, but it is not proven.
There does not appear to be a negotiation occurring anytime soon. The civilians
of Yemen are now in danger, since some are being taken under Houthi control. Without
a negotiation citizen casualties may occur.
