A "super typhoon" hit the Philippines on Saturday, the second typhoon to cause serious damage to the nation this week.Typhoon Nalgae died off early Sunday morning with winds maxing out at around 100 MPH. The typhoon that hit this weekend has killed at least one person so far, with the death toll predicted to be much higher. The typhoon that struck Tuesday, typhoon Nesat, left 52 people dead. In total, the two typhoons are said to have hit at least three million filipinos. The biggest issue now is supplying aid to those affected by the storm. Why people might have money to buy necessities, there are no necessities to buy, no food to eat or means to cook it, no water to drink, and no clear answer for what to do next. Many roads and bridges are either destroyed or closed, making the urgent need for help even more difficult. Ryan Borchardt
