While leaders of the world join in a summit on who is responsible for climate change and who is to help prevent further events from occurring, one island is taking climate change face to face as half their island has been consumed by the sea. Many residents don't feel safe anymore as many have lost their ancestral homes to the rising sea. The Lagos Island being the business center has lost a major resort that helped facilitate tourists to the island and that has had a big impact on the islands business economy.
