Sierra Leone Explosion

Last week, a fuel tank exploded in Sierra Leone killing 98 people. During the explosion,  a motor cyclist in the nearby street was severely burned. Unfortunately, the victim in this case was worried about the $27 they lost in the fire; the article states that was three days worth of wages. There is no burn unit in Sierra Leone, so doctors and nurses have been working tirelessly to help the victims who survived the fire. The biggest fear at this point, is lack of access to adequate medicine and the strain the absence will have on the victims families, being that many of them were breadwinners in their household.
