Pandemic dip in carbon emissions was temporary

 During the pandemic, carbon dioxide emissions fell by 17%, which was a big stride around the world. However, due to the world getting back to normal after the pandemic, carbon dioxides levels have been rising again. To give some background CO2, is the leading cause of Global Warming, countries are trying to minimize or eliminate emissions for good. However, everyone knew this rise was going to come because there was a similar sequence of events after the recession of 2008. When CO2 levels fell and then rose again.
