Preparations for Biden and Xi's Monday Meeting

    As tensions continue to rise between the U.S. and China, Biden and Xi plan to have a virtual meeting with each other tomorrow in hopes to diffuse some of tension. Despite this tension between states, the same can't really be said for Biden and Xi's personal relationship. In fact, they're on more friendly terms, with Xi even referring to Biden as an "old friend". However, with both of them being heads of state for their respective countries, the pre-existing friendship between them can only go so far when it comes to discussing the relationship between the countries they lead. Nevertheless, Biden still believes this meeting will have its value even when low expectations have been set for it.
